Reflection

This portfolio project has been such a rollercoaster. From being able to switch partners to finally feeling confidant in a project to the corona virus, this project has had a lot of up and downs. Gus and I started off really strong. We we were seeing eye to eye on almost everything and everything seemed to be going our way.  We were (dare I say it) over prepared; planning to film a week or two earlier than other groups. Luckily, being over prepared saved us when the corona virus shut everything down. Everything was put in place to film but the biggest issue we ran into was finding actors. With everyone worried about getting the virus, we would find an actor who would back out a few days later leading to a two week blog post hiatus. Not because we didn't want to work, no one wanted to work for us. Since my mom wasn't letting me out of the house, we came up with the plan that Gus would film and edit the film and I would do everything else (the website, postcard, teaser trailer, and film poster), of course giving each other critiques along the way. After we got over the rotating actors situation, everything started going really well.  While the outcome is not exactly what we envisioned, its pretty close and I'm proud of what we accomplished.
